MVP Award

Honoring Teams Making a Difference

The TeamKC MVP Award is given to a team from the corporate, educational, civic, government or nonprofit space that has provided a significant impact on or contribution to the success of making the Kansas City region a top destination for talent.

The recipient of the award will have gone far and beyond to show collaboration, innovation, thought leadership and impact on behalf of the Kansas City community.

Honorees are recognized at the annual TeamKC Training Camp.

The KC Streetcar Authority

The KC Streetcar is about more than just moving people — it expands access and mobility while elevating the region as a destination for talent and opportunity.

Over the past decade, this free streetcar has provided more than 17 million passenger trips, serving 1.8 million riders in 2025 alone and sparking billions in development. It reconnects neighborhoods, honors the region’s history and redefines what’s possible for the next generation.
